We teach all levels of math...so don't think you must be a Calculus guru to work for Mathnasium! In fact, the majority of our learners are in elementary and need help with foundational mathematic concepts and practice.
We don't need you to have a degree, we don't need you to be the master of higher level math, we just need you to care about learners and willing to learn how to help them become successful. We can teach you the math methods that you need. Advanced levels of math is not necessary...most of our students are elementary or middle school. We only need a few staff for higher level maths.
We offer amazing evening hours (after school) and are a great fit for High School students looking for their first job, university students looking for a great work environment, as well as adults who want to be an integral part of the success of others. Our peak hours are 3pm - 5pm but we are open until 7pm and will have extended summer hours, so we can match our schedules to your availability!

Qualifications:
- Passion for math and working with students
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Eagerness to learn and be trained
All applicants must be able to work in U.S.A. (no visas provided), all work is done in-person (this is not a remote position), and all applicants must pass a criminal background check and complete their training (provided by us) prior to working. All tax documents must be submitted before first day of work. Higher level maths are not required for this position since most students are elementary or middle school.
Compensation: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing, LLC ("Mathnasium"). Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus, each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center. If you are hired to work at a center, the franchisee will be your employer, not Mathnasium.
